Hi, I’m Ruth - the heart behind Kindness in Motion.
I wear many hats: yoga teacher, wellness facilitator, project manager, and (most importantly) mum. My journey has taken me through youth work, hospitality, events, foster parenting, disability support, and now into running my own wellness business. Each chapter has shaped how I see people, resilience, and the importance of slowing down in a world that often asks us to go faster.
What I’ve learned is simple but powerful:
· Small daily habits create big shifts.
· Wellness isn’t a luxury - it’s a necessity.
· When we take care of ourselves, everyone around us benefits.
What I Do
At Kindness in Motion, I design and deliver wellness experiences that help people pause, recharge, and reconnect. My work weaves together yoga, mindfulness, meditation, restorative practices, and self-care strategies in ways that feel achievable and sustainable.
I create safe, supportive spaces where you can simply breathe—whether that’s through a group yoga class, a workplace wellness workshop, or a full-day retreat.
Who I Help
I support people who are doing their best to hold it all together:
Workplaces that want to foster wellbeing, reduce stress, and encourage staff to thrive.
Parents who are juggling work, family, and life’s endless to-do lists.
Individuals who are ready to take small but meaningful steps towards balance and self-care.
Why Kindness in Motion?
Because kindness isn’t just something we offer to others - it’s something we need to extend to ourselves, too. When we put kindness in motion, even in small ways, we build a life that feels more connected, grounded, and fulfilling.
This space is here to remind you that you don’t need to do it all alone, and that taking care of yourself is not only okay - it’s essential.
Thank you for being here. I’m so glad our paths have crossed.
Here’s to breathing a little deeper, moving with kindness, and finding balance together.
With warmth,
Ruth
